The ball will be rolling again for this year's main national competition. The 2020 Brazilian Beach Soccer Championship will hold its second stage, with teams from Group B (North/Northeast), between October 26 and November 1, in Recife. Eight teams will represent six different states and will be looking for the four spots in the group for the final stage, which will take place in Rio de Janeiro.

Náutico-PE, Sampaio Corrêa-MA, América de Natal-RN, Sport-PE, Murici-AL, Confiança-SE, Caldense-PE and Treze-PB promise exciting matches at the Santos Dumont Sports Center in Boa Viagem.

"The CBSB was tireless in its search to make this competition possible, which was only made possible by the union of many competent people who love our sport. We're sure it will be a great tournament and Brazilian beach soccer will win once again," said CBSB vice-president Gustavo Sampaio, who is also the current president of the Pernambuco State Beach Soccer Federation.

The Group B stage (North/Northeast) will qualify its four best teams for the final stage, which will take place at the Barra Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro from November 16 to 22. They will join Vasco da Gama, Flamengo, Anchieta-ES and Luziânia-DF, the four qualifiers from the Group A stage (South/Southeast/Central-West), held in March in the city of Anchieta-ES.

The 2020 Brazilian Beach Soccer Championship is organized by FIFOS and the Brazilian Beach Soccer Confederation, and is made possible with funds from the Sports Incentive Law - a federal government program.
