Sampaio Corrêa-MA, América-RN, Cabense-PE and Murici-AL secure places in the final stage of the Brazilian Championship in Rio

A flurry of goals summed up the final day of the third round of the 2nd stage of the 2020 Brazilian Beach Soccer Championship. The nets rattled 35 times in the four matches held at the Santos Dumond Sports Center in Recife-PE. América-RN, Murici-AL, Sampaio-Corrêa-MA and Cabense-PE have all qualified for the semi-finals of the competition - and consequently a place in the final stage in Rio de Janeiro - and will be looking to win Group B (North/Northeast).
Murici-AL 2-6 Sampaio Corrêa-MA
Having already qualified for the semi-finals, the two teams went into the game seeking a better position, but it was Sampaio Corrêa-MA who came out on top. The Maranhenses beat Murici-AL 6-2, with star player Datinha opening the scoring. Jerlan sealed the win with the last goal of the game. SAMPAIO CORRÊA GOALS: Datinha, Igor, Denner, Luís Antônio, Patrick and Jerlan. MURICI GOALS: Hebert (2) and Cibite.
Náutico-PE 9 - 4 Treze-PB
In a clash of northeasterners, Náutico-PE hosted Treze-PB and showed their superiority in the first few minutes of the game with two goals from the giant Fernando DDI, opening Timbu's rout at the Santos Dumont Sports Center. The Pernambuco club maintained their lead throughout the game and beat Galo 9-4. The hosts' second win of the season was important as it kept the team alive. However, they depended on América-RN losing their next game. NÁUTICO GOALS: Weslley (3), Fernando DDI (2), Anderson Luís (2), Williams and Marconio. TREZE GOALS: Everton (2), Bricio and Joanderson.
América-RN 6-1 Cabense-PE
In search of their second win in the competition and a place in the semi-finals, América-RN went all out against Cabense and opened the scoring in the first half with a goal from Gabriel. Soon after, Edson Hulk increased Mecão's lead. The game continued to be very busy until the end, but the red and whites managed to maintain their supremacy on the pitch on another gala night from former Brazilian international striker André Bigode, who scored three goals in the game. The Pernambuco team won 6-1, eliminating Náutico, and securing first place in Key I, qualification for the semi-finals and a place in the final stage in Rio de Janeiro. AMÉRICA-RN GOALS: André Bigode (3), Gabriel, Edson Hulk and Reyder. CABENSE GOALS: Kaio
Sport-PE 3 - 4 Confiança-SE
Sport started the game on top of Confiança and managed to open the scoring in the first few minutes, but the team from Sergipe was alert and managed to turn the game around in the first half. The match remained tight until the end. Confiança-SE came out on top and beat Sport 4-3. The highlight of the game was Vinicius, who scored three times for Dragão. SPORT GOALS: Túlio, Simão and Léo do Pina. CONFIANÇA GOALS: Vinicius (3) and Eloy.
