The Brazilian 7-a-side Soccer National Team won the 2026 Pan American Nations Championship title after a stellar performance against Argentina. The Pan American 7-a-side Soccer Club and National Team Championships took place from September 4 to 7 and transformed Paranagu\u00e1 into one of the continent\u2019s leading centers for the sport. The match between Brazil and Argentina was one of the most anticipated games of the tournament and ended with the Brazilian national team dominating from start to finish. The 6\u20130 score secured Brazil the Pan American Nations Championship title and marked yet another chapter in the traditional sporting rivalry between the two countries. Representatives from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Venezuela were in Paranagu\u00e1 during the four-day event. According to data released by the organizing committee and the city government, approximately 1,080 athletes participated in the various competitions held in the city. The event was organized by the International Federation of Football Soccer Society (FIFOS), with institutional support from the Brazilian Confederation of Soccer Society (CBSS), the Paran\u00e1 Federation of Soccer Society, and the City of Paranagu\u00e1, through the Municipal Department of Sports and Youth. In the women\u2019s division, the title went to DAP (Despertando Amor ao Pr\u00f3ximo) from Santo Andr\u00e9, S\u00e3o Paulo. The schedule also included the Continental Cup, for teams that did not advance to the second round of the Pan American Club Championship. 7-a-side soccer is gaining ground on the international stage<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hosting the Pan American Games reinforced the growth of 7-a-side soccer and the efforts by the sport\u2019s governing bodies to expand the international schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the athletic competition, the tournament brought athletes, family members, officials, coaching staff, and fans to Paranagu\u00e1, boosting business at the city\u2019s hotels, restaurants, shops, and other service establishments. (\u2060Paranagu\u00e1<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Brazilian national team, the competition couldn't have ended any better.
