The favorites for the title confirmed their status by beating their opponents with ease. Anchieta beat Am\u00e9rica-RN, Sampaio Corr\u00eaa beat Luzi\u00e2nia, Vasco da Gama beat Confian\u00e7a and Flamengo got past Murici. Among the goals of the day, the highlight was that of Bruno Xavier, captain of Anchieta and of the Brazilian national team, who hit a cinematic volley from the side of the pitch into the corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The match was expected even before the tournament started because there were so many stars on the pitch. On the Capixaba side, a squad reinforced by the Portuguese national team's standouts, brothers B\u00ea and L\u00e9o Martins, and the star Jordan, voted best in the world in 2019, and Brazilian national team players such as Nelito, Z\u00e9 Lucas, Brendo, Gean Pietro, as well as Bruno Xavier himself. Relying on the calibrated foot of star player Luc\u00e3o, who scored four goals in the game, Vasco defeated Confian\u00e7a 7-4 in their debut in the Final Stage of the 2020 Brazilian Beach Soccer Championship. The team from Sergipe was very tough, but couldn't stop the strong team from Rio de Janeiro, second in the world club ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the most competitive match of the day, Flamengo got the better of a tough Murici side to close out the first round of the Final Stage of the Brazilian Beach Soccer Championship. Top scorer Rodrigo was the highlight of the match with two goals, one of them after his trademark fantastic bicycle kick. Three points for the red-black team, who finish the round in second place, behind Sampaio Corr\u00eaa, the leaders on goal difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
