After two great games, the results brought together clubs with one of the biggest - if not the biggest - rivalries in the country: Vasco and Flamengo. The Cariocas will meet in the first semi-final at 10am, while Sampaio Corr\u00eaa will take on Anchieta in the second at 11.15am. Sportv will broadcast both matches LIVE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Am\u00e9rica-RN 4 - 2 Confian\u00e7a-SE
With both teams already eliminated from the competition, the opening match of Round 3 marked Am\u00e9rica-RN's solitary victory in the Final Stage of the 2020 Brazilian Beach Soccer Championship. Striker Edson Hulk, recently called up to the Brazilian national team, scored twice in the 4-2 win over Confian\u00e7a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the clash between the teams from Alagoas and the Federal District, it was better for the Candangos, who left the tournament with their only victory. Without two important players, such as captain Juninho Alagoano and the experienced Anderson Wesley, Murici couldn't resist the good team from Bras\u00edlia, which came reinforced by good players from the south of the country, including striker Iza\u00edas, who has already been called up to the Brazilian national team and scored one of the goals in the 4-2 victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flamengo and Sampaio Corr\u00eaa took to the field to decide who would top Group D. Both had won two of their opening two games and therefore had six points. With the ball rolling, Bolivia Querida showed that they will fight tooth and nail for the title. Showing great speed, they were able to involve Flamengo and had an inspired afternoon from their number 10, the star Datinha, one of the best players in the world, who scored three times. The two goals scored by Thager were not enough to stop the Tricolor de A\u00e7o. In the end, it was 5-2 to Sampaio, who finished top of the group, leaving second place to Flamengo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most eagerly awaited matches in the championship was the clash between the second best team in the world and the team reinforced by three world champions from the last World Cup. Vasco and Anchieta lived up to expectations and put on a beach soccer show. With turnovers and incredible moves, the teams fought hard for victory and first place in Group C. In the end, it was better for the Cariocas, who opened the scoring, then took a 3-1 lead and regained the advantage to finish the match with 5 for and only 4 against. The result left Vasco in first place and Anchieta in second, thus defining the semi-final clashes: Vasco vs Flamengo and Sampaio Corr\u00eaa vs Anchieta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
