Among the confirmed teams are Palmeiras, reigning champion Flemish (which returns to the competition after three years), the paraguayan women's national team and Peñarol, This year's group of participants is complete. The criteria for participation prioritize technical level and media appeal, reinforcing the proposal to bring together protagonists of the sport.
The format of the competition is to open with a double round of semi-finals on July 9. On the 12th, the third-place play-off and the grand final will be played. The bracket, times and broadcasts will be announced by the organizers at a later date.
More than just a tournament, the Brasil Ladies Cup is being consolidated as a platform for the development of women's soccer. In addition to the matches, the program includes two days of lectures and workshops, which will take place on July 10 and 11 in the stadium's press room, with industry leaders addressing topics such as training, management, marketing, technical aspects and inclusion.
“Our aim is to build an ecosystem that goes beyond the pitch. The Brasil Ladies Cup is designed as a complete development platform that connects athletes, clubs, brands and the public around the growth of women's soccer,” says Fábio Wolff, a member of the organizing committee.
Another highlight of this edition is the move to Campinas and the expansion of engagement actions. “The choice of Campinas, the return of important teams and the new activations show that we are evolving with each edition. We want to deliver an increasingly relevant event, both sportingly and in terms of experience and legacy,” adds Wolff.
With expectations of a high technical level and greater visibility, the Brasil Ladies Cup reinforces the growth of women's soccer in Brazil and South America. The competition is yet another indication of a consolidating environment, driven by public interest, brand investment and greater presence in the media, a scenario that is directly linked to the country's preparations to host the 2027 Women's World Cup.
